WoodenValley was founded in November 2021 in steward-ownership. The non-profit start-up accompanies and supports entrepreneurs and communities in the planning and implementation of circular economy building projects, in which everyone acts as an actively shaping part of a healthy ecosystem. Educational events encourage municipalities and communities to rethink their approach and aim for a long-term change towards a climate-positive construction industry. The team helps facilitate processes and generate impulses thus advocating a cooperative and digital building industry in order to create climate-friendly living space and future-oriented projects. In their work, WoodenValley contributes to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for social, ecological and sustainable development. The Purpose Foundation holds one percent of the voting rights and thus ensures permanent compliance with the principles of steward-ownership.
